OK I must admit this is a great Captain Picard seat, it is comfortable but a bit small in terms of sitting space vs chair size. I am not sure yet about orthopedics, I am still on the trial stage. Now... the bad stuff... The package arrived outside my door (nice) and due to social distancing the delivery person left after knocking and so far so good. The carton box however was punctured on one corner really badly and I took a photo of it before opening it but at this point I could not tell if the hole had extended through the wrapping plastic film. By the time I carried the box in my living room the package was falling apart already. I don't know what I've done in my life to deserve the torture that followed afterwards. The instructions are descriptive and adequate but... there are no leading holes for the leg screws to screw them in. One has to do it over fabric which makes it impossible to mark and screw so I had to remove the fabric so that I could see the wood surface to mark and screw the leg in. Speaking of wood... I am happy the thing is solid like a rock but... there is no way to screw these screws in this thick wood surface without lead-holes. It's simply impossible and I tried and broke my electric screw driver, then I broke my fingers, then my arm until I realized I had an old electric drill and drilled little leading holes and the job was done; painfully but was done. I had to staple the fabric back on the wood and around the legs, and add black duck tape to cover the mess and it is fine and not visible just as my soar back and arms and everything. I then cleaned the general surface so that I can sit and at the back corner I noticed that the leather at some point looked strange. It appears that the bad package did hurt the chair after all cause foam was hanging out of the corner where two big leather peaces are sawed together. The size of the damage is about two inches. I have no patience or time, or the stamina to disassemble the seat and send it back so I fed the foam back in the hole and it didn't look as bad, used a bit of instant glue and blackened the grey surface with a marker and the damage is only visible if you've read this review. I am very disappointed because it would've taken what... ten seconds per leg base... to the maximum, less than a minute for a person at the factory to make those lead holes for the leg screws and that would have saved my half a day's work and three days of pain that followed. I hope this issues will be remedied. As for the damage... am not happy about it but asking people to carry the thing back etc with the Covid-19 would be too much so I'll accept it as a sign of our times. I will update this review as my relationship with that seat is maturing... on durability, comfort etc.I liked the modern look and the materials. As I have experience with tools and have my own equipment, it was fairly easy for me to assemble. It is fairly heavy and feels very durable. The leather look mimics the real thing without the headache of upkeep. Very easy to clean. My friends compliment me on the unique style. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I also purchased the red and black chair which matches my computer gaming chair in my home office/living room. Great deal.As noted by others the mounting hardware for the legs is junk. The screws will strip out. Save yourself some trouble and go to a hardware store and by better screws. Other than that, its a great chair for the money. This is a beautiful chair but there is no way it newNAThe chair is not comfortable at all. It looks nice, but it is very hard. It’s really good for the priceThis is a garbage product; do not buy it. The screws which are used to assemble the legs strip easily as you can see in the picture. They instructions that king for there simply is also horrible Buyer beware.
